The Backstory of slo-mo

The day of slothscovery

Once upon a time, deep in a South American rainforest lived a large community of rainbow-coloured sloths. The baby sloths hated having a bath and it had been weeks since their last, so the granny and grandpa sloths decided it was time to make the special sloth wash that they knew would make the baby sloths want to wash. The baby sloths were quite stinky already, so they knew they didn’t have much time before they became too stinky to bear, but knowing how slow they move and how sleepy they get, the group decided that they needed to work in shifts.
One by one the group slowly gathered the special ingredients they needed and had them bubbling in a big pot for 2 days.
As Miss Scientist (yes, that’s what they called her because she was soooo smart) was stirring the pot one final time, a tropical flower fell from the tree right into the pot of the bubbling concoction!
Instantly, a volcano of soapy foam exploded into the air and covered them all from head to toe. The baby sloths were delighted! They laughed and laughed playing in the foam until they fell asleep. And to the adult sloths’ delight, everyone smelt wonderful.

After this accidental discovery, the baby sloths *and secretly the adult sloths too, wanted to play in the foam every day. (Foam bathing for the win!)
Because the sloths were so slow, they couldn’t keep up with the demand, so they decided to call upon their jungle friend, Mowgli, to help.
Mowgli gathered all of his animal friends around the world to help the friendly sloths make their soap foam. Everyone loved it! Mowgli and all the animals of the world were now stink-free.
Mowgli gave some to his human friends some to try too and as he expected, they absolutely loved it. So much so, they decided to help Mowgli and the sloths by making the earth-friendly, fun soap foam for them. A know what? All the profits are donated back to help sustain the sloth communities around the world.
